The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave

I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about this by now. Land Before Time is getting yet another movie after eight years of nothing. This one will be the fourteenth, wow it's getting up there in the numbers. The movie was first heard of in about November I'm not really sure. I found out in April when i looked up the series on Wikipedia. I've learned more since then.

So far there's not that much to know. We have a very brief description of what the movies is about,

"Littlefoot and his friends head out to the Mysterious Beyond to find Littlefoot's father Bron after he fails to return to the Great Valley and mysteriously disappears."

It sounds like it could be interesting. I'm not sure if it would be good or bad because there's not much to go on. That's just the main story, I'm guessing there's more to it because the movies usually have more than one story.

What else we know is that there is a new director for this one. there's the voice cast Littlefoot unsurprisingly has a new voice actor, but Aria Curzon and Jeff Bennett will be coming back as Ducky and Petrie. so far that's all that i know about the voice cast.

There are some things that several people are wondering about the new movie. one is will Chomper and Ruby be in this one because they were main characters in the TV series. I can honestly see this one going either way. i can see it continuing where the TV series left of and having them in it too.
i can also see it not including them and just having the original five and forgetting the TV series even happened.

Everyone is also worried that the movies is going to be in CG because a lot of newer movies going to CG. I don't think it will be full on CG. i think they will change the animation a little bit but i think they might use something similar for the backgrounds or something or use something like flash animation.

The movie is going to come out this winter so it's still a while. I think a new one is beyond awesome. non of the series i like ever get something so something like this blew me away. I thought it was finished after The Wisdom of Friends. i thought that was true because one thing I've seen in a a lot of movies and TV series is when some says the name of the series for the first time it usually means it's the end, at the end of number 13 the narrator said "...as they grew in The Land Before Time." so to have keep going after that is epic.The movie is going to come out this winter so it's still a while. ANOTHER ONE?!!!

So some movies are better than others, but which ones? I ranked them all, yes all of them. Not really based on anything specific. It's just which ones i think are the best and "not-so-best" in general. I've done a lot of reading about this and my opinions are a lot different and almost the opposite of other people. Even the ones that rank lower are still not bad I'm just not as fond of them. It goes from favorite to least favorite.

A New Idea

The Land Before Time, a great and very underrated series. The heartwarming story of the young dinos becoming friends and having all kinds of adventures. I've liked The Land Before Time for as long as i can remember. The movies alone make up the majority all the movies i like.

I came here because i have a lot to say about the series, especially the movies. Most people consider the original as a timeless classic and think of the sequels as crap. I'm the opposite, I'm not saying the original is crap. The original is a classic, However I'm not as fond of it as the others. I like the sequels a lot. most people pretend the sequels don't exist, i embrace them and treat the series as a whole.

I want to say what i have to say about all of this.
